Rachel Roberts is a Northern Irish Fine art and freelance photographer, focusing on portraiture, performance and nature in her conceptual work.

​

While studying a BA Hons photography with video at The University of Ulster, Rachel began her now ongoing project, looking at the female form through the male gaze, the work focusing on the unequal social power between the gazing man and the gazed-upon woman, using the participating spectator as this overbearing power imbalance between the two. She uses her own body as the object for this gaze and continues to do so in work and other projects she continues to create.

Marketing

After graduating from Queens University Belfast in December 2022 with a Masters of Science in Marketing, Rachel was eager to begin her career in the field. Now, having started her Marketing Administrator role at Lisclare in June 2023, she is excited to put her knowledge into practice within her team.

​

With her main roles including event planning and organisation, Graphic design, as well as social media and email marketing, these responsibilities allow her to make use of the skills she has developed from both her BA Hons Photography with video as well as her MSc in Marketing to produce a high level of work.

Having developed strong digital marketing, data analytics and analytical thinking ability through these studies, she is eager to see how her role within the company will progress in the future.
